LICENSED PRESCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAMS

• General preschool education program, program code 01011111 (Valmiera & Riga);
• Special preschool education program for learners with learning disabilities, program code 01015611 (Valmiera & Riga);
• Special preschool education program for learners with intellectual disabilities, program code 01015811 (Valmiera & Riga);
• Special education program for learners with severe or multiple developmental disabilities, program code 01015911 (Only in Valmiera).

• Information of the child's birth certificate (will be copied upon presenting the original);

• Child's medical card (form 026/u). From the age of 5, this document is obtained from the previous educational institution, if there was one.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Places in the preschool special programs (01015611, 01015811) for in-person education in different age groups are available for the 2024/2025 academic year.
• The special programs are open for learners who are eligible for a state-paid assistant. The educational institution will provide this in accordance with the law (an assistant is provided to the learner if they require special care (DEAK) and a request from the legal guardian for such assistance has been received).
• If a learner needs an assistant, confirmed by relevant specialists (psychologist, neurologist, special educator, etc.), but has not been assigned special care (DEAK), the parents will cover the assistant’s costs or provide the assistant at the school on their own.
